Mgr Enterprise Business Services Strategy
Description
To plan, organize, direct, and control the performance of worldwide strategic business projects for senior and executive management.
1. Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a staff of exempt employees and assists in managing the department's operations budget.
2. Leads high level cross functional projects to resolve significant business issues and to implement worldwide quality business or process improvement systems.
3. Evaluates the effectiveness of the company's financial systems as well as any new business or process improvement initiatives and presents recommendations to senior management.
4. Responsible for program management of key cross divisional projects to ensure deliverables are achieved as designed.
5. Identifies, analyzes, and develops solutions to significant worldwide issues impacting the company.
6. Coordinates contracts and contractors' progress and expenditures for the department as required.
7. Participates on various committees, coordinates and interfaces with internal FedEx groups to ensure consideration of all impact items and compatibility between projects/programs.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in related quantitative discipline. Five (5) years professional experience in management consulting, internal audit, finance, public accounting, or information systems analysis/planning with emphasis on project or program management. Knowledge of personal computers, integrated operational/information systems. Demonstrated strong understanding of business and financial planning functions. Strong basic management, human relations, analytical and communication skills. Ability to accept international travel. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree/equivalent in accounting, finance, business, engineering, information systems or other related business discipline.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years professional experience in management consulting, internal audit, accounting, finance, project/program management, vendor management or information systems with emphasis on analysis/planning.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of personal computers, integrated operational, back office or information systems.
Significant project/process management experience.
Proven ability to innovate, develop and produce high quality results on a consistent basis.
Demonstrated strong understanding of business and financial planning functions.
Strong basic management, human relations, analytical and communication skills.
