Responsible for leading a dynamic program management team to oversee and drive a portfolio of strategic initiatives across various business domains. This role demands a thought leader and strategic consultant capable of identifying innovative opportunities. Responsibilities include ensuring rigorous program management standards, financial oversight, and executive-level reporting to support the company’s strategic objectives.

About our Role:

The Enterprise Strategy & Program Management (ESPM) team serves as a critical partner to the CTO, providing strategic guidance, end-to-end program oversight, and domain-level insights to align DRIVE initiatives with the broader FedEx business plan. By embedding directly within domain teams, ESPM drives cross-functional coordination, facilitates enterprise-wide activities, identifies and mitigates risks, and ensures the timely delivery of measurable business value. The team also supports executive content development, manages operational cadence, and empowers teams through coaching and governance model guidance. This position will be a manager role, expected to own multiple domains. 

Essential Functions

  • Thought Leadership & Strategic Consulting: Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to senior leadership, challenging the status quo and identifying transformative opportunities that advance organizational strategy and competitive edge.
  • Program Oversight & Portfolio Management: Lead cross-functional program teams in the oversight of high-impact initiatives, ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities, seamless execution from ideation to delivery, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Execution Standards & Operational Excellence: Establish, uphold, and continuously evolve scalable program management standards and operating models that drive consistency, agility, and accelerated delivery across all workstreams.
  • Executive Reporting & Strategic Insights: Synthesize complex data into high-impact insights and strategic narratives. Deliver executive-level reporting on program performance, risks, milestones, and key outcomes to inform decision-making.
  • Financial Management & Value Optimization: Partner with Finance to oversee project costing, resource allocation, and investment prioritization. Ensure all programs deliver tangible business value and align with financial objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization. Drive alignment, transparency, and collaborative decision-making through strategic influence and communication.
  • Risk Management & Problem Solving: Anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks across program portfolios. Enable proactive issue resolution and embed risk-aware thinking within program governance structures.
  • Culture of Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Identify emerging trends, streamline processes, and implement best practices to elevate program impact and team performance.

Domicile Information:

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business administration or related discipline.

Minimum Experience

Five to eight (5-8) years of experience in program management in a business environment or strategy consulting with a demonstrated strong understanding of business and financial planning functions. Two (2) years of experience as a leader or a senior member of multi-functional teams.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: US Pay Range: $9,208.28/month - $16,575.08/month
