Mgr Hub Operations - MEMH
Description
Plans, organize and control the launch, control room functions, international functions or offload Ensures a high level of service and on-time launch at a minimal cost. Directs all other necessary activities which provide optimum service to FedEx express customers.
Minimum Education
High School diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
Two (2) years of management experience in the last five (5) years OR completion of AiM (internal development program). Two (2) years related experience in transportation industry preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills. If applicable, bilingual communication skills (French/German/Spanish and English) preferred.
Job Conditions
FAA covered safety sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must work in the Memphis Hub Operations.

One year experience in FedEx supervisory/lead roles, ex. Ramp agent/Ops Lead/Team Lead OR
Two years management experience (for external candidates) OR
Completion of a certified internal leadership development program, including AiM. OR
Bachelor's degree OR
Twelve months general FedEx operations experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents. Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills
