Description
Oversee the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program to ensure secure, compliant and efficient access to systems, application and data in alignment with business and regulatory needs
Manage, lead and develop a professional security operations staff, defining vision, operating mode, tooling strategy and structure
2. Define and execute the IAM strategy to align with business needs, security policies and regulatory requirements
3. Oversee the design, deployment and continuous improvement of IAM solutions, including identity governance, PAM, SSO and MFA
4. Establish and manage robust identity lifecycle processes, such as provisioning, de-provisioning and RBAC
5. Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards and procedures to ensure compliance with frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001
6. Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity and business teams to design secure, efficient access controls and address identity-related risks
7. Monitor IAM system performance and lead audits, access reviews and incident response for identity-related security events
8. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Five (5) years of in identity and access management or information security
• Proven expertise managing Security Operations Center (SOC) operations and security monitoring platforms
• Deep expertise with IAM technologies and concepts, including identity governance and administration (IGA), privileged access management (PAM), single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege principles
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory frameworks such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS)
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands.
