Job Summary
The Manager of End User Computing (EUC) Platforms will lead the global strategy for delivering a cloud-first, AI-driven desktop experience for more than 500,000 team members. This role oversees Windows 365 deployment, global endpoint management through Microsoft Intune, and the integration of Agentic AI to transform support operations and improve performance, scalability, and user experience.
Seeking a proactive and adaptable leader who excels at driving results in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate strategies and issues to all levels, from individual contributors to senior leadership.
This position is critical to our Global Workspace Engineering Strategy, as it will lead the cloud-first, AI-driven desktop experience for over 500,000 team members. This is a highly specialized role, requiring expertise in large-scale Intune and Windows 365 deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Architecture: Define the global Windows 365 virtual desktop architecture to deliver a consistent, cloud-first experience.
AI-Driven Support: Implement autonomous AI-driven support workflows to enhance support operations and user self-service capabilities. Integrate Agentic AI to create autonomous, AI-driven support workflows, fundamentally transforming our support operations.
Endpoint Management: Manage a large-scale Microsoft Intune environment across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, ensuring security and compliance.
Modern Operations: Drive modern maintenance practices such as automated patching, software distribution, and telemetry-driven optimization to improve system reliability.
Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years in IT Infrastructure with leadership experience in EUC at Fortune 100 scale.
Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows 365/Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Entra ID, Agentic AI workflow design, PowerShell and Graph API automation, and Endpoint Analytics.
Leadership: Experience leading distributed global teams across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
Certifications: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, math or directly related quantitative degree or related field.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years systems development experience which includes programming. Skill in one or more programming languages. If position is in mainframe environment, complex systems experience on IBM operating systems or microprocessors required. Experience in the technical design and development of major data processing projects. IMS experience. If position is in client/server environment, systems development experience to include distributed systems is required. Experience in client/server technology, object oriented (OO) development or case tools. Experience in the technical design and development of major client/server projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of software and engineering principles. Strong basic management, human relations, and communication skills.
Domicile Information:
The preferred location for this position is Memphis, TN, United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need. Employees who live within commutable distance of a FedEx corporate hub may be required to work a hybrid schedule.
