Mgr Ramp Ops/NonDOT
Description
Supervises the loading and offloading of aircraft. Ensures that safe and efficient operations exist at FedEx ramp facilities.
Essential Functions
Coordinates with other stations on CTV movement and flight following.
Selects, trains, and motivates hourly employees.
Supports corporate EEO/AAP goals and objectives.
Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High School diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience
One year experience in FedEx supervisory/lead roles, ex. Ramp agent/Ops Lead/Team Lead OR
Two years management experience (for external candidates) OR
Completion of a certified internal leadership development program, including AiM. OR
Bachelor's degree OR
Twelve months general FedEx operations experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills.
Job Conditions
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Must successfully complete weight and balance training if managing any trunk ramp agents.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: $5,960.29 - $9,834.48 USD Monthly
