Mgr Risk and Insurance

Description

Leads team in the collection and supply of information needed for executive leadership reports, and insurance renewals and submissions.

Essential Functions

• Works with the Corporate financial compliance team and outside accounting on Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance and audits.
• Process TPA Funding, invoices, and payment.
• Work with Business Transactions and other groups on contract renewals and RFPs for vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years property and casualty experience in claims or underwriting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Casualty insurance experience in claims or underwriting; experience with SOX and financial controls. Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills. Ability to identify process improvements, design workflow efficiencies using automation. | Prior experience managing a team.
