POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for achieving assigned district sales goals through the effective management of a team of experienced sales professionals. Plan, execute, and overseeing sales activities, implementing short-term strategies, and influencing cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth through strategic customer acquisition and retention. Provide daily leadership, training, coaching, and development to the sales team and engage directly with key accounts.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead and manage a team of Account Managers, provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
2. Develop and execute district sales strategies aligned with company goals.
3. Conduct joint sales calls with team members to support key accounts.
4. Implement policies and strategies for short-term sales results.
5. Solve moderately complex problems and influence practices across departments.
6. Drive sales through direct and indirect channels, including customer presentations and product demonstrations.
7. Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
8. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate LTL solutions.
9. Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of sales targets.
10. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
11. Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education
- Post-secondary degree required
Minimum experience
- Five (5) years of B2B sales experience
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities essential to perform job
- Demonstrated expertise in consultative and value-added selling.
- Proven ability to manage experienced professionals
- Deep understanding of LTL services and pricing
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook)
- Excellent time management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, including excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as strong ability to persuade, collaborate, and partner with all levels within the organization.
- Ability/willingness to learn new applications, software, systems, and equipment as required
- Ability to manage competing and changing priorities
- Professional verbal, reading and written communication skills
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred; required in Quebec
JOB CONDITIONS:
- Position requires extensive and frequent travel, including overnight travel
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Hours may vary due to operational need.
