Description

Responsible for achieving assigned district sales goals through the effective management of a team of experienced sales professionals. Plan, execute, and overseeing sales activities, implementing short-term strategies, and influencing cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth through strategic customer acquisition and retention. Provide daily leadership, training, coaching, and development to the sales team and engages directly with key accounts.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage a team of outside and/or corporate account sales representatives, provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Develop and execute district sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct joint sales calls with team members to support key accounts.
  • Implement policies and strategies for short-term sales results.
  • Solve moderately complex problems and influence practices across departments.
  • Drive sales through direct and indirect channels, including customer presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate LTL solutions.
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum experience

  • 5 years B2B sales experience.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Strong leadership, communication, and human relations skills.
  • Proven ability to manage experienced professionals.
  • Deep understanding of LTL services and pricing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.

JOB CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to travel overnight as required.

Pay Transparency: Compensation listed reflects the pay range or pay rate reasonably expected for this position. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, pay information represents the minimum and maximum range for all levels. Actual pay determined by job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location, performance, schedule, and work assignment. Pay: Pay Range: $103,880.00 - $181,790.00 per year
