Mgr Tax
Description
Plan, organize and direct the development and implementation of tax policies to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local tax laws and regulations.
Essential Functions
- Developing solutions for potential tax issues, keeping abreast of new developments in tax legislation, and informing management and team.
- Select, educate, develop, motivate and lead a team of employees; Support and review efforts to ensure safety performance of people and improve overall morale. Develop and manage department budget.
- Determine areas of exposure and adapt to challenges in the compliance process
- Manage and coordinate tax audits
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or related discipline.
Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years directly related experience within a tax/financial discipline.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of large service or business operations required.
Strong basic management, human relations and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Software experience using CorpTax, Oracle, Alteryx, Research, writing, and presentation experience, The ability to multi-task, work independently, develop new ideas and take ownership of projects
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: $9,719.96/month - $13,121.94/month
Additional Details: The desired locations for this position would be Collierville, TN. This position may be eligible for relocation.
