General Summary
The Office Clerk will perform clerical work requiring the application of various work methods and procedures, functions, policies, and practices. The incumbent provides support duties to the organization as needed.
This position will be responsible for…
· Receiving, classifying, and routing incoming mail. Calculates, prepares and mails bills for documents or services.
· Checking, analyzing, and classifying/alphabetizing materials, conducting limited research when necessary.
· Indexes records and information, making postings to various departmental records and filing.
· Preparing reports involving tabulations, posted data and simple calculations.
· Receiving and issuing receipts for payments for licenses, permits, certificates, bonds, service, etc.
· Issuing licenses, permits, certificates, or other legal documents, and/or titles in accordance with departmental rules and regulations.
· Acts as a backup receptionist and provides administrative services to staffs by copying documents, getting office supplies and kitchen supplies.
· Conducts limited research of records for information as required.
· Perform payroll duties as assigned.

· High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience.
· Ability to operate a typewriter, adding machine, calculator, copier, and/or other office machines is required.
· Experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment is preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
