What you’ll do

As on Operations Agent working within our Query Channel team you will be responsible for answering queries from customers, drivers, and staff to ensure we exceed our client’s expectation on service enquiries and last mile deliveries, always striving to make every customer experience outstanding.

As the first point of contact for our Special Services courier fleet you will be responsible for answering queries via phone and email and assisting the Time Critical operations team to achieve an efficient, timely and cost-effective model.

  • Provide prompt resolution of customer service enquiries by telephone and email
  • Utilise transport systems/tools to book jobs and resolve queries
  • Investigate, track & monitor jobs to ensure service levels are met
  • Create an open transparent communication channel in all dealings while maintaining integrity
  • Give direct observation and feedback to management

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Good customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High accuracy and strong attention to details
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Knowledge of freight management system procedures, scanning and compliance requirements
  • Basic geographical knowledge of Sydney metropolitan areas
  • Ability to review driver current jobs to ensure timely delivery windows are met
  • Liaise with Despatch operators to assist major customers with their needs
