Operations Analyst IV
Description
Collaborating with various departments, providing analysis and support for field operations, leading implementation support for new functions, processes, and systems, and participating in new product development teams, Quality Action Teams (QAT), and special project teams.
Essential Functions
- Provides analysis and support for Critical Systems and field operations, including trending, analysis, issue discovery and resolution.
- Creates supporting dashboard solutions using Power BI and SQL tools.
- Takes part in Facility Events such as testing technology for openings and designation changes.
- Develops processes and documentation for training, development, and troubleshooting.
- Leads implementation support for deployment of new functions, processes and systems as needed.
- Participates on Quality Action Teams (QAT), and special project teams.
- Collaborates with other corporate departments, Information Technology (IT), and field personnel across the company.
- Leads and participates on tactical and strategic project teams.
- Validates and updates performance metric analysis and reports.
- Initiates and implements process improvements.
- Communicates process changes to the field organization in a timely manner.
- Monitors key indicators of field performance, assists in root cause analysis, and collaborates with field personnel to improve and implement corrective actions
- Provides on-site support to field operations.
- Continuously improving internal department work processes through applied technology.
- Updating systems and databases to improve department work processes.
- Provides implementation support for deployment of new functions, processes and systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
- Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information and to communicate with all levels of management.
- Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.
- Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs.
- Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.
- Ability to mentor, coach and act as a knowledge resource to other employees.
- Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures used in field operations.
Minimum Education
Bachelors Degree in business, logistics or related field. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Minimum Experience
Seven (7) years experience required in FedEx transportation, logistics industry or related area.
Job Conditions
Minimal travel required.
Domicile Information
This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: US Pay Range: $4,881.62/monthly to $8,461.48/monthly
