Operations Project Advisor
Base location: any FedEx location within the Eastern Europe region
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Project Advisor to join our team in any country within the region. This high-impact role shapes strategic business decisions through advanced analysis and expert project management.
You will work as part of the senior leadership team to transform performance across all priority metrics, reporting directly to the Vice President Ground Operations responsible for Eastern Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- lead high-impact, cross-functional projects that drive operational excellence and business transformation
- support the district staffing model by analyzing workforce data to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- conduct in-depth analysis and research to interpret complex data and identify strategic opportunities
- provide expert insights on emerging trends, risks, and best practices to senior and executive management
- develop and recommend data-driven strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and performance
- manage diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and securing executive buy-in
- drive strategic planning and process improvements, ensuring long-term business success
- ensure compliance with company policies, relevant legislation, and external regulations.
What do you bring with you:
- 5+ years of experience in Operational/Engineering Project Management, preferably with management experience
- proven expertise in business analysis, decision-making, and project execution
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information
- exceptional planning and organizational skills
- ability to influence and persuade senior leadership through data-driven insights
- proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- strong knowledge of compliance standards and procedures
- ability to drive operational improvements and lead structural projects
- strong communication and social skills and ability to present to a wide audience confidently.
