P&E engineer - Industrial engg & business analyst
Description
Minimum of 3-4 year of experience in process engineering, industrial engineering, process mapping & improvisation, project management and data/tech disciplines from business analysis perspective in logistics or allied industry. Encourage to apply with longer experience.
Skills/knowledge – Good English and native language skills, possess good communication, team focus, business thinking competencies. Project management, MS office, basic sql and other MS office tools knowledge.
• Basic knowledge on Object oriented programming concepts
• Skills in SQL and experience in creating, analyzing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries
• Business analysis and turning business problems into automation solution
• Strong skills in visualization tools like Power BI, Spotfire etc.
• Basic agile practice skills/background with exposure in being a part of Agile teams
• Knowledge of software and engineering principle
What will you do:
Acts as a technical expert on complex and specialist subject(s). Supports management with the analysis, interpretation and application of complex information, contributing to the achievement of divisional and corporate goals. Supports or leads projects by applying area of expertise.
Study existing processes to define improvised process through SOPs and see through the implementation. Act as business analysis bridge between operations and IT to design & develop data driven solutions. Support operations and measure their performance for efficiency improvement.
What you’ll be working on:
Managing life cycle of operational improvement with innovative solutions
Study existing operations to find opportunities and develop automation solutions to automate process and reports
Act as business analyst bridging gap between operations and IT solutions creating innovative solutions and enhancing business systems
Develop solutions using IT programming language and MS office suites to support data, visualization and measurements
Creating project business cases and managing them through complete life cycle with cross functions
Perform an industrial engineering study to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
Creating & implementing SOPs
