Payroll Specialist-Associate
Description
The Payroll Specialist Associate supports the accurate and timely processing of payroll by assisting with payroll-related tasks, data validation, and employee inquiries. This role works closely with senior payroll specialists, HR, Finance, and external providers to ensure payroll activities are completed in compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
The position is ideal for someone developing payroll expertise and gaining hands-on experience in payroll operations within a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support monthly payroll processing activities for assigned countries or entities
Collect, validate, and maintain payroll data (e.g. time tracking, absences, salary changes)
Assist with payroll calculations, reports, and reconciliations
Respond to basic employee payroll inquiries and escalate complex cases when needed
Ensure payroll data accuracy in HR and payroll systems
Support compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies
Assist with audits by preparing documentation and reports
Maintain up-to-date payroll documentation and process guidelines
Support payroll projects, system testing, and process improvements as assigned
Key Skills & Competencies:
Basic knowledge of payroll processes and employment regulations

Good organizational and time-management skills
Willingness to learn and develop payroll expertise
Ability to work with confidential data

Experience with HR/payroll systems is an advantage

What you will be doing:
Supporting the end-to-end payroll process to ensure accurate and timely salary payments
Collecting, validating, and maintaining payroll-related data (e.g. time and attendance, absences, salary changes)
Assisting with payroll calculations, reports, and reconciliations
Responding to employee payroll-related inquiries and escalating complex issues when required
Ensuring payroll data accuracy across HR and payroll systems
Supporting compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies
Assisting with payroll audits by preparing required documentation
Maintaining payroll documentation and supporting process improvements and system testing
Collaborating closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, and external partners
