This position is part of the corporate initiatives program management team. The team supports strategic programs of FedEx Corporation by facilitating and executing on programs that are critical to the long term success of the Corporation. This role under the Platforms Portfolio Execution Office (PEO) will be responsible for managing the portfolio transformation strategy and provide demand management leadership

Job Description

  • Drives program management and operating model standards as applicable to ensure solid execution and accelerated delivery in alignment to Enterprise Strategies and Portfolio Priorities
  • Independently manages day-to-day oversight for large scale program impacts to portfolio ; facilitates cross portfolio alignment, problem solving and escalates issues and risks
  • Takes a customer focused approach in the development and implementation of portfolio transformation roadmap
  • Innovates on content and narratives that drives portfolio governance forums. Presents to internal and external senior leaders as required.
  • Conducts research and analysis as required to lead process improvements and organizational change management.
  • Supports the implementation of programs across the operating companies and services by creating and implementing departmental program management processes, tools and techniques.
  • Facilitates program monitoring to enable realization of benefits, ensures best practices are used, and provides visibility to senior management on the current status of programs.
  • Demonstrates bias to action and champions change management
  • Provides mentoring for the development of those in less senior positions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Domicile Information: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business needs.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Seven years professional work experience. At least 3 years experience in facilitation of large programs or multi-function projects in a practical business setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Familiarity with the transportation/logistics industry and expertise in multifunctional project/program leadership experience desired.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communications skills required.


Preferred Qualifications:  

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $8,007.29/month - $14,413.11/month
