Description

• The primary responsibility of the Process & Systems Specialist is end-to-end process standardization & process efficiency, including, documenting standards, IT modernization and innovation.
• Global standardization of the operating model through the implementation, configuration of business rules, workflows and controls within the CargoWise System up to regional level in close alignment with frontline Subject Matter Experts and Management.
• Support with project management and deployment of new IT solutions and/or IT enhancements into the branches.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, system development, and compliance.
• Facilitates and initiates training and workshops.
• Manage change through the application of change management tools and in collaboration with Change Management Practitioners.
• Collaborates with the Quality & Compliance team ensuring sustainability and continuous improvement.
• The role reports to the Manager of Operational Excellence.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the implementation of Business Process projects as defined by Business Process and Operations team across the region.

Deliver Business Process projects as per project plan.

Define best practice and promote consistency across region.

Collaborate with overseas to ensure solutions focus on end-to-end efficiencies.

Review/understand/present current processes, able to identify opportunities for improvement and create plans to bridge any gaps.

Support in establishing metrics to measure performance e.g. productivity/accuracy and create action plans to drive performance.

Facilitate regular Business Process workshops across the region.

Provides support to end users for CargoWise One.

Monitors data quality for the region.

Addresses data quality issues with support to field on use of DQ tools.

Assisting with client integrations and notification setup in CargoWise One.

Assisting with service provider integrations and agent integrations.

Setting up scheduled reports and locating specific reports for users.

Assisting with new report and report modification requests in the system.

Assisting management with reporting requirements.

Training new and existing users on any new aspects or systems use and rolling out new system functionality/projects.

Testing and developing process for new system functionality.

Documentation of CargoWise customization, milestone customization (can be related to notifications and integrations).

Running UAT tests for the region whenever system upgrades are required.

Process reviews and mappings including country fit gap analysis to support deployment of systems and process

SOP/DLP/Best Practice design

Providing assistance and being an escalation point for the regional business process

Setting up new user profiles in CargoWise and assigning security rights based on approvals from management.

Logging and tracking incidents that needs to be escalated.

Engage station manager and superusers.

Establish and maintain operational scorecards across regional branch network.

Performs other duties as assigned.


Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Minimal 2 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics and/or brokerage

Good knowledge about Freight Forwarding and/or brokerage processes, i.e.: ocean freight, air freight, road and rail transportation, cross dock operations, brokerage and value-added services.

In depth knowledge of the CargoWise system

CargoWise Professional Certification

Good knowledge MS-Office solutions: Excel, Visio, PowerPoint

QDM Expert certified and/or Green Belt (Six Sigma) certified

Good knowledge & experience in project management and change management

Good data analytical skills

Able to build & maintain relationships with Front Line Management & employees as well as with regional and functional leadership.

Preferred Qualifications: Position will report to the office 2 - 3 times a week, in-office will vary depending on business need. This is role variable remote, with some work from home opportunity and some in the office work, dependent on company policy. Must be able to travel. 25% travel average, can increase with business need. Can be for extended periods of time.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $5,783.60 - $10,973.90 USD Monthly
