Product Management Advisor
Description
Product Management Advisor vision: Lead the strategic direction, development, and management of our US International Parcel portfolio. You will have independent product ownership, requiring little to no supervision. You will proactively identify market opportunities, define product roadmaps, and lead complex, cross-functional projects from inception to successful market launch.

Description
Independent Project Leadership
Lead large-scale, high-impact product initiatives independently. Anticipate roadblocks, define project milestones, and drive execution across multiple departments without requiring day-to-day oversight.
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Own the end-to-end product strategy for the US International Parcel segment. Develop and maintain a comprehensive 12-36 month product roadmap that aligns with broader corporate objectives.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Continuously monitor global trade trends, international e-commerce growth, customs regulations, and competitor movements. Translate these insights into actionable product enhancements and new service offerings.
Cross-Functional Orchestration
Serve as the central hub for your product portfolio, seamlessly coordinating with IT/Engineering, Global Operations, Pricing, Sales, and other Marketing teams to ensure successful product development and go-to-market execution.
Financial & Performance Management
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including product revenue, shipment volume, margin profitability, and customer satisfaction. Implement corrective actions independently when performance deviates from targets.
Customer-Centric Innovation
Champion the voice of the international shipper. Conduct customer/sales interviews, analyze pain points in the cross-border shipping process, and design solutions that simplify international trade for businesses of all sizes.
Logistics Expertise
Experience in in global logistics, transportation, supply chain, or e-commerce industries is a plus.
Data-Driven Storytelling
Deep expertise in data analysis to drive insights: Using SQL/analytics tools to uncover trends, not just reporting metrics, to support decisions; Quantifying Impact - Comparing KPIs to demonstrate ROI; Executive Summaries - Tailoring communication based on data, answering the "so what?" and action oriented recommendations. Leverage AI tools to quickly uncover insights.

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in product marketing, economics, business, or related field.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent.
More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master’s Degree equals two (2) years experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Superior knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis.
Expert communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring and solving skills.
Superior executive presence, human relations, networking and influencing skills.
Strong project management and project management leadership experience.

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location four (4) times per week.
