Product Management Principal - Global Verticals and Clearance

Description

With very limited supervision, drives development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience.

Essential Functions

• Leads development and implementation of marketing, sales and all other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes.

• Independently leads needed market, economic and competitive evaluations that affect product performance.

• Independently performs fact based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights.

• Leads completion of needed advanced data models and analytics.

• Independently identifies and prioritizes new features, including market analysis, business case development and driving prioritization.

• Leads and executes large, complex new-product development initiatives and other marketing/enterprise programs across large, cross-functional work teams.

• Actively coaches and mentors others in less senior positions.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus

• Advanced expertise in complex customs clearance and brokerage.

• Deep knowledge of multi-agency regulatory requirements.

• Proven success navigating intricate international trade compliance and high-level global regulatory environments.

• Experience in Global Verticals (Automotive, Aerospace, Healthcare, or Data Centers) or industry-specific solutions build considered a plus.

• Principal-level technical background with the ability to execute immediately. 
  

Work Locations

This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, Pittsburgh, PA, or Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.

Minimum Education

Master’s Degree/equivalent in product marketing, economics, business, or related field.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Superior knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis.

Expert communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring and solving skills.

Superior executive presence, human relations, networking and influencing skills.

Strong project management and project management leadership experience.
