Product Manager
Description
Under limited supervision, leads development and execution of product/portfolio strategies and plans, taking into account product life cycle stage and the customer experience.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for managing, developing and implementing marketing, sales and other activities, as needed, to achieve the necessary business outcomes.
- Evaluates market, economic and competitive factors affecting product performance and demonstrates ability to perform fact based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights.
- Works with advanced data models and analytics.
- Prioritizing new features, orchestrates and executes product development.
- Executes new product development initiatives as marketing or overall development lead across multi-functional team.
- Coaches others in less senior positions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Details:
- Leads and coordinates multi-functional team to execute on new product development initiatives specific to packaging and related supplies.
- Works with stakeholders to develop, create, modify, and actively manage assortment.
- Responsible for managing, developing and implementing marketing, sales and other activities, as needed, to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Evaluates market, economic and competitive factors affecting product performance and demonstrates ability to perform fact-based data analysis and interpretation to identify critical business insights.
- Works with advanced data models and analytics.
- Prioritizing new features, orchestrates and executes product development of physical packaging products and services.
- Leverages technology platforms (ecommerce, procurement systems, backend supporting databases) to expose and deliver packaging supplies to end-user.
- Coordinates and conducts customer and end-user research to identify customer pain points and needs.
- Collaborates with sourcing, procurement, marketing, and technology teams to deliver upon stated objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in product marketing, economics, business, or related field.
Minimum Experience
Three (3) years work experience in functions focused on product management, market analysis or research, or equivalent.
More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master’s Degree equals two (2) years experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of competitive, market and economic factors affecting product performance and ability to perform fact based data analysis.
Strong communication and presentation skills, quantitative, problem structuring and solving skills.
Strong executive presence and human relations skills.
Strong project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Focus on packaging & holistic business ownership working with diverse stakeholders. Project management, strong communications, packaging knowledge & business decision-making preferred. Experience taking ownership in change & transformation needed.

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, or Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
