Summary:

To provide program management and leadership skills to deliver complex projects and programs that drive business success. Responsible for providing program/project planning and management across multiple stakeholder groups to support standing up a new decision analytics organization for Enterprise demand and capacity management. Driving change and implementing process across multiple Director groups to implement a systematic and data-driven approach to demand management analytics, centralizing and consolidating insights and facts to enhance business decision making to deliver value.


Job Responsibilities and Skills:

Responsibilities –

• Lead strategic projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

• Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, budget, and risk management strategies.

• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to identify project priorities and deliverables.

• Ensure that project outcomes meet quality, timing, and cost expectations.

• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.


Skills –

• Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.

• Ability to build relationships, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to drive change and lead organizational transformations.

• Ability to make progress in ambiguous situations with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge and/or experience with internal FedEx demand and capacity management systems

• Experience with project management tools such as Planview, MS Project

• Knowledge and/or experience with QDM, Scaled Agile Frameworks, and FedEx Lean Portfolio Management

• Agile

• QDM

• Safe framework

• PMP certification preferred


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Computer Science, Math/Statistics or other quantitative discipline.

• Five (5) years’ direct experience in quantitative/analytic business, project management, transportation operations, or process improvement profession.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $7,094.23/month - $12,533.14/month
