Description
To provide technical expertise and support for planning, developing, organizing and coordinating large programs/projects.
Essential Functions
- Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, methodologies, processes, and products to achieve major innovative improvements.
- Collect, analyze, and produce financial and performance indicators and forecasts.
- Provide appropriate specifications for and coordination of programs that cross department/division lines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Description:
• Under minimal supervision, executes strategy for Commercial Portfolio initiatives.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, methodologies, processes, and products to achieve major innovative improvements.
• Collect, analyze, and produce financial and performance indicators and forecasts.
• Provide appropriate specifications for and coordination of programs across department/division lines.
• Resolves problems and makes recommendations related to complex and interrelated matters and projects.
Additional Job Details:
• This position is for a Program Management Advisor within the Global Products, Solutions, and Business Agility organization, responsible for leading the top priority Commercial Portfolio projects.
• Under limited supervision, the Program Management Advisor provides overall leadership and project management expertise to lead a cross-functional team as an Epic Owner.
• This high-profile position involves direct interaction with senior executives across the organization.
• Candidates will obtain significant leadership experience.
• Coaches others in less senior positions.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business or related quantitative discipline.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years exempt experience in project/program management, product development, systems design/development or business /financial planning and analysis. Experience in the use of project management/planning software. Experience in planning major projects including development of project proposals, business cases, schedules, and financial justification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
Knowledge of standard program and financial management techniques.
Strong human relations, leadership, and communication skills.

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN or Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
