Provides technical expertise and support for planning, developing, organizing, and coordinating large programs/projects. Researches, evaluates and recommends new technologies, methodologies, processes and products to achieve major innovative improvements. Collects, analyzes, and produces financial and performance indicators and forecasts.

Job Overview:

  • Manage the design, implementation, maintenance of advanced computer programs, including translation of business processes and requirements to system and performance requirements; apply best practices to ensure end to end accuracy of the systems’ business transactions; function as it lead of departmental and contract advanced computer program developers; collect/analyze financial and performance indicators to support internal and external reporting and resolution of problems/issues/concerns affecting the department; manage compliance with departmental SOX and vendor risk management controls; work effectively with diverse FedEx Opcos, Finance/Safety/HR/Operations departments, vendors, actuaries, auditors, brokers, insurance carriers, etc.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides technical expertise and support for planning, developing, organizing & coordinating large programs/projects.

  • Researches, evaluates and recommends new technologies, methodologies, processes and products to achieve major innovative improvements.

  • Provides appropriate specifications for and coordination of programs that cross department/division lines.

  • Manages compliance with departmental SOX and vendor risk management controls; work effectively with FedEx, Finance/Safety/HR/Operations departments, vendors, actuaries, auditors, brokers, insurance carriers, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Work/Domicile Location(s):

  • The desired location for this position would be Collierville, Tennessee; Coraopolis (Pittsburgh), Pennsylvania or Memphis, Tennessee; however, this position may be located anywhere within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.   

Relocation:

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, computer science, accounting/finance, MIS or directly related discipline.

Minimum Experience

Seven (7) years related experience in project/program management, product development, systems design/development or business/financial planning and analysis.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Experience in the use of project management/planning software. Experience in planning major projects including development of project proposals, business cases, schedules and financial justification.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $7,094.23/month - $12,533.14/month
