We’re seeking a Web Analytics Specialist to lead website performance analysis, define and monitor digital KPIs, and deliver clear reports and insights to inform marketing and optimisation. Strong technical and data‑storytelling skills required.

Key activities

  • Own Website Performance Analysis: Lead the analysis of website performance, identifying trends, user behaviour patterns, and opportunities to improve traffic quality, engagement, and conversions.
  • Define and Monitor Web KPIs: Establish, track and optimise key digital KPIs (e.g. organic traffic, conversion rate, bounce rate, customer journeys, CTR, CPA, ROI), ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead Reporting & Dashboarding: Design and maintain advanced dashboards and reports, delivering clear, actionable insights to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Translate Data into Strategy: Act as a strategic partner to Marketing and Digital teams, using data to influence decision-making, campaign optimisation, and website improvements.
  • Oversee Tracking & Data Integrity: Ensure accurate implementation and governance of tracking frameworks (e.g. tagging, events, pixels), working closely with technical teams when needed.
  • Champion Continuous Optimisation: Identify testing opportunities (A/B, multivariate) and support CRO initiatives to continuously improve user experience and conversion performance.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Extensive Experience in Web Analytics: Strong, hands-on experience in analysing website performance and user behaviour in a complex digital environment.
  • Advanced Analytics Toolset: Expertise in tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and data visualisation platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau). 
  • Strong Understanding of Digital KPIs: Deep knowledge of web and marketing KPIs and how they connect to commercial performance and customer journeys.
  • Technical Acumen: Good understanding of tracking methodologies, tagging (e.g. Google Tag Manager), and the technical language of digital marketing.
  • Data Storytelling & Influence: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive & Strategic Mindset: Ability to work independently, challenge the status quo, and proactively identify opportunities to drive performance.
