GENERAL SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary

Provides advisement, oversight and ownership of quality assurance to ensure data and process integrity of the entire district. Through relationship development and influence, advises Operations Management (all positions reporting through Sr. Manager) on quality, compliance, and process direction in order to ensure the data integrity and optimal operational performance. This requires knowledge of specific internal operational processes, policies, and standards. Collaborates with Sr. Managers to review reporting integrity, determine root causes of operational inefficiencies, develop and assist management in implementation of corrective action plans and support compliance across the District(s).

Essential Functions

Ensures data and process integrity from pick-up and delivery through oversight of quality assurance across district(s).

Acts as advisor between Corporate and Field to ensure processes/procedures are in place and aligned to strategic compliance objectives by communicating, implementing, and sustaining quality driven standards to ensure performance goals are met through the maintenance of process compliance.

Reviews processes and recommends changes for more efficient testing and accurate reporting per functional area.

Influences staff in understanding and applying technical processes/procedures as well as the significant impact to overall business objectives.

Drives district-wide training initiatives such as training webinars, operational processes/procedures for facilities regarding compliance and data integrity, and other various training seminars.

Oversees International package processes where stations complete cross border paperwork to vendor to verify correct information is provided.

Monitors standardization of the Overgoods process, investigating breakdown errors in regards to missing return/recipient addresses and offering procedural solutions.

Ensures the Correct Delivery Manifest (CDM) Process is being properly executed for inbound package and information being sent out to customers is accurate. Examine the process for consistency, authentication and determine root cause for failure or lack of compliance and suggest solutions.

Ensures data integrity initiatives and processes are in place to support COI, BCSA, Performance Reporting, CDM, and DCRT to ensure the reporting compliance with process standards.

Approves clerical hours allotted to stations analyzing budgetary and staffing models to work with management to establish appropriate amount and clerical timeline.

Supports Quality Action Teams (QAT) via Quality Driven Management process (QDM).

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required. In addition to minimum experience, high school or GED and four (4) years’ experience in an analytical role position is accepted in lieu of degree

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years internal FedEx operations package process experience in a Courier Team Lead (CTL) position or above required. Management experience preferred


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.

Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information.

Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals

Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs.

Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.

Ability to mentor, coach and act as a knowledge resource to other employees.

Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures related to FedEx operations.

Ability to build collaborative working relationships and to gain input and influence management.

Some travel may be required.
