Description

Job Duties
To coordinate all station ground operations relating to the operational interface between aircraft loading/unloading activities; performs deice activities and provides deice services to FedEx aircraft as assigned. Execute contingency deicing practices for early launch flights, trans-loads and mid-shift flights while ensuring proper administration involving weights and balance of fluids for safe deice practices and live events. Facilitates movement of deice fluids from the farm to the tanks. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma/GED.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to complete basic and/or re-currency training/testing. Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver package of any weight above 50 Lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to operate GSE. Knowledge of FAMIS/FedEx computer systems. Good human relations and communication skills. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Must be in training on all deice trucks.

Job Conditions

FAA covered safety sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
