Job Duties
Coordinates all station ground operations relating to the operational interface between aircraft loading/unloading activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to complete basic and/or recurrent training/testing. Ability to properly identify and prioritize loading/unloading procedures. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to operate GSE. Knowledge of FAMIS/FedEx computer systems. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Job Conditions
Drives vehicles not covered under section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment.
FAA covered safety sensitive position. Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Preferred Qualifications: This position is for Ramp Agent (DOT/CDL) and requires obtaining a CDL and Hazardous Materials Endorsement. Candidates must meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (Section 391), pass a DOT medical exam, and undergo drug/alcohol testing. A neat appearance is required for customer interaction. Must maintain constant alertness and operate safely. Additional driving requirements per Company Policy 4-48.
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: 24.57-38.16
