Ramp Area Driver
Description
Moves trailers to designated locations on the ramp by driving the tractor vehicle Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High School Diploma/GED.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to drive a Tractor-Trailer. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Job Conditions
Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must have an excellent driving record and valid driver's license.
