Real Estate Advisor
Description
Support the management of the company’s real estate portfolio including development of new facilities and administration of existing facilities with the goals of providing cost-effective occupancy solutions and long-term operational capacity. Manages the domestic portfolio for designated markets.
Essential Functions
- Manage lease expirations, renewals and/or extensions.
- Conducts real estate negotiations and transactions with external representatives in coordination with corporate facility planning and all other necessary internal groups, as appropriate.
- Provides portfolio strength, operational and brand name security based upon market knowledge and corporate requirements.
- Strategize and recommend real estate alternatives to meet the company’s facility capacity needs and operational requirements including expansion of existing leased or owned facilities
- Manage client, vendor and landlord relationships as it relates to real estate assets
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree/equivalent in real estate, finance, business.
CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), SIOR (Society Industrial Office Realtors), NACORE (Intl Assn of Corporate Real Estate Executives) or equivalent professional real estate designation.
Minimum Experience
Six (6) years professional commercial or industrial real estate negotiating, acquisition, management, and finance experience, including experience with contract negotiations, and service agreement negotiations and related real estate/facility transactions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of airport related real estate transactions including ramp, terminal, and/or gate agreements.
Knowledge of contracts relative to commercial real estate.
Strong negotiation, human relations and communication skills.
PC skills required preferably with MS Office.
Strong real estate financial calculation skills
Preferred Qualifications: Applicant MUST HAVE a minimum of 6 years commercial real estate experience. Having a CCIM is preferred.
