Researcher Principal
Description
Responsible for leading the overall research strategy and execution.
Essential Functions
- Independently plan, implement and conduct research, including; usability studies, ethnographic field studies, eye tracking studies, competitive evaluations, participatory design sessions, focus groups, user surveys, in-depth interviews, card sorting, gorilla usability tactics and/or similar approaches.
- Communicate data driven insights and recommendations in a persuasive manner to influence/drive decision-making and problem solving processes. Facilitate creative collaboration internally, bridging between decision-making and problem solving processes.
- Facilitate creative collaboration and business decision making internally, working with key stakeholders including design, information technology (IT), marketing, product development, and operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in marketing research, design research, user research, or related business discipline.
Minimum Experience
Seven (7) years experience in research, research techniques, creating and running various research methods, interpreting results and developing data-driven recommendations.
More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements. A related Master’s Degree equals two (2) years experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong collaboration, communications and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in conducting research using an experience-management platform such as Qualtrics, Medallia, or Salesforce and also have extensive experience with survey data such as Net Promoter Score (NPS) and/or Customer Satisfaction surveys. Experience with text analytics and customer segmentation are also strongly encouraged.

Pay: $8,007.29 - $14,413.11/month
Additional Details: This position may be located anywhere within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US territories. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.
