Utilizes financial and analytical skills to provide ongoing guidance and decision support to management and to assist in executing Finance processes and procedures

Job Description

  • Compile, analyze and evaluate data from multiple financial and operational systems and effectively summarize and present analyses, conclusions and recommendations that assist management decision making
  • Conducts pricing analysis by utilizing advanced computer modeling techniques and database tools
  • Uses advanced financial analysis, data management and modeling techniques
  • Reviews financial data, plans, and reports for completeness and accuracy and ensure timeliness of completion
  • Provides support for related analytical ad-hoc requests from senior management
  • Develops working relationships with functional departments and operations. Leads or participates in special projects driven by current company needs or business conditions
  • Develops computer aided modeling and decision support using advanced programming  languages, relational database management systems or online analytical processing tools to accelerate data analytics.
  • Utilizes, develops and maintains processes, information systems and software

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in finance, accounting, business or a related quantitative / analytical discipline

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years of related and/or relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrated computer skills.

Strong basic management, human relations, communication and analytical skills.

Has a solid understanding of the FedEx business. Understands the operating environment, business and economic conditions
