Description

Reporting to a Manager Solutions Design & Implementation, you will support the acquisition and development of major customers by creating and deploying customer solutions and implementing major new business wins via structured project management. This will be achieved by supporting Sales with customer meetings to fully understand their supply chain requirements. The ability to develop strong relationships with customers in the spirit of a partnership approach is essential. Key to succeeding in this exciting and varied role will be your ability to build and maintain relationships as you will be managing project teams comprising of FedEx colleagues within functions/departments in various countries. You will form and lead the project teams including allocating tasks, progress monitoring, managing communication and chairing concalls/meetings to ensure the projects remain on-track.

What you will be doing:
Key Responsibilities:
•    Work in partnership with FedEx operating companies, functions and teams to support the acquisition and development of strategically important customers.
•    Define scope and project manage the development and deployment of sustainable, replicable and scalable customer solutions that support the acquisition of major new business for FedEx. 
•    Develop and deploy customer solutions to support penetration into target vertical markets.
•    Perform framing sessions with prospective and existing customers to identify and implement areas for improvement within their supply chain creating opportunities for FedEx.  
•    Present customer solutions to prospective and existing customers. 
•    Define scope and project manage the implementation of major new business to ensure go-live is achieved on-time and providing an optimum customer experience. 
•    Perform project reviews with customers and hand-over to Sales and other functional owners once the project is closed.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
•    Good understanding of FedEx/TNT networks, products and capabilities
•    Fluent in English
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office
•    Project management skills
•    Ability to analyse information or data and present findings
•    Ability to give attention to detail
•    Ability to use own initiative
•    Ability to exercise personal responsibility and autonomy
•    Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
•    Flexible approach to work according to project requirements
•    University Degree
