Description
Under limited supervision, supports technology asset lifecycle management, designs and supports enterprise system software matched to business needs. Responsibilities include creation of business requirements, testing and life cycle management of existing systems/technology assets and processes. Leads cross functional teams providing technical expertise, customer support, technology innovations, modeling and reporting. Develops automated solutions. Manages projects of major corporate impact. Mentors less senior staff by providing leadership.
Summary
The business analyst will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, problems, and opportunities, and then develop solutions that help the organization achieve its goals. The business analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, documenting business processes, building use cases, developing requirement, and identifying areas for improvement. The business analyst will work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions, analyzing the potential impact of the recommendations and will be responsible for ensuring that solutions meet the needs of the business and add value.
Job Description
The Salesforce Business Analyst serves as the IT liaison to the business, responsible for gathering, reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems, requirements, and user needs for the Salesforce platform. This role manages and executes complex Salesforce projects, acting as the intermediary between business stakeholders, IT, and third-party vendors. The analyst ensures business objectives are met through a deep understanding of business processes and Salesforce technology. Responsibilities include end-to-end design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, providing leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, and ensuring efficient configuration, development, and deployment.
- Gathering requirements from business stakeholders
- Work with developers and technical leads to develop, design and solution documents
- Drive UAT demo sessions with business stakeholders
- Assist with test script development and coordinate testing efforts, including post-sprint, UAT, and regression testing
- Identify, track and resolve issues promptly
- Serve as a primary liaison between the business stakeholders and IT teams
- Serve as the lead subject matter export and advocate for industry best practices
- Perform project management and manage IT and business communications
- Collaborate with business application owners to ensure smooth and well-connected business and data management processes
- Lead discussions on new business needs, features, and technical solutions for process improvement
- Contribute to the Salesforce Roadmap and oversee the rollout, implementation of new functionality, and major upgrades
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in professional development
Key duties include:
- Translating business needs into technical specifications
- Mapping business processes
- Coordinating internal and UAT testing
- Performing post-deployment validation
- Gathering requirements, creating user stories, and developing business requirement documents (BRD’s)
- Onboarding new stakeholders into the application environment
- Communicating effectively with different teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
- A passion for cross-functional collaboration and building solutions to support business processes and data flows is essential.
Requirements:
- Certified Salesforce Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- 2+ years of experienced supporting Salesforce-based applications
- Proficient in gathering requirements, writing BRD’s, and other technical documentation
- Skilled in writing user stories and thorough acceptance criteria
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, capable of building relationships with multiple stakeholders and participating in cross-functional teams
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments and supporting multiple teams/projects
- Quick learner with an analytical growth mindset, curiosity, and attention to detail
- Resilient and energetic, capable of driving solutions in ambiguous situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to excellent customer service and quality
- Project management experience and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies are advantageous
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in information systems, computer science, business, or a related discipline. Five (5) years’ experience in programming, systems consulting or system analysis/requirements software documentation on either PC based or mainframe systems. A related advanced degree may offset experience requirements. Knowledge of multidimensional databases and web-based applications and understanding of PCs, networking, and peripheral devices. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
Domicile Information: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business needs.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: Pay: Annual Range: $91,233 - $136,849
