Monday - Friday - 1st Shift (Day)

Scrum Master III

The Scrum Master III plays a key role in defining, developing, implementing, and continuously improving Agile practices--primarily Scrum--across the organization. This role facilitates sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint demos, while maintaining metrics that help teams visualize progress. The Scrum Master III leads Agile transformation efforts and promotes accountability and transparency across all levels.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more teams, leading multiple simultaneous initiatives or medium-complexity programs/releases.
  • Practice core Agile principles including collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support and educate Product Owners in developing, refining, and managing product backlogs.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Track and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and release milestones.
  • Provide status reporting on KPIs, schedules, resources, and milestone delivery.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development team members.
  • Resolve impediments and foster self-organization and shared leadership within teams.
  • Apply judgment and experience to plan and accomplish complex tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Promote Agile best practices and contribute to organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience or applicable Agile/Scrum certifications required.

Technical and Business Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of organizational products and services.
  • Familiarity with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, work instructions, and process maps.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
