Security Tech Analyst

Description

Provides technical support to security professionals and business partners for security programs and systems, including planning, developing, organizing, and coordinating large programs/projects. Provides specifications and coordination of programs that cross regional and department areas.

Position Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of physical security projects involving the installation of CCTV systems, access control systems, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while meeting customer quality and compliance standards.

Essential Functions:

• Provides technical support to security professionals and business partners for security programs and systems.

• Provide technical expertise and support for planning, developing, organizing and coordinating large programs/projects.

• Provides specifications and coordination of programs that cross regional and department areas.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end physical security installation projects from initiation to closeout

• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, internal teams, and vendors to define project scope and deliverables

• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, procurement, and budget forecasts

• Lead kickoff meetings and regular project status updates with stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with all relevant security, electrical, safety, and building codes

• Oversee the installation of security systems such as IP-based CCTV, video management systems (VMS), access control panels, card readers, door strikes, and related infrastructure

• Review design drawings and specifications to ensure accurate system implementation

• Monitor site progress and perform quality assurance inspections

• Manage change orders, risks, and issues throughout the project lifecycle

• Maintain accurate project documentation including logs, reports, and as-built drawings

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

• Lenel Onguard, Airship VMS, Genetec VMS, and Bosch Alarm System

• ServiceChannel, SmartSheets, Lenel Onguard, Viakoo, and Airship Nexus considered a plus

• Microsoft Office, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Ensure timely project closeout and client sign-off

Work/Domicile Location(s):

• This position will be hybrid in Collierville (Memphis), Tennessee; Coraopolis (Pittsburgh), Pennsylvania; or Indianapolis, Indiana and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location several times per week.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business, engineering, or related experience.

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years’ experience in project/program management, systems design, installation, or service of security systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience in the use of project management and security systems platforms.

Experience in planning security projects installations, proposals, business cases, or schedules.

Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and planning skills. Strong human relations and leadership skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. Pay: Collierville: $4,600.74/month - $5,980.96/month; Pittsburgh: $4,842.88/month - $6,295.74/month; Indianapolis: $4,600.74/month - $5,980.96/month
