Senior Analyst, Air Product AMEA
Description
• To analyze, develop, coordinate, and recommend the implementation of air products & services development, airfreight space procurement, and charter programs with the objectives of expanding and enhancing air freight products, services, financial returns
PRINCIPLE DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recommend Management in long term air freight space procurement on airline block space plan and charters so to ensure sufficient space to cope with Business Plan
- Communicate and work closely with various parties in commercial airlines space procurement project.
- Handle charter requests by analyzing customer needs, communicating with airlines, and recommending solutions to Sales.
- Propose, develop, and maintain air product database including air freight performance, KPI and so to facilitate Asia Pacific air product development.
- Provide analytical support on key air freight projects and management decision of: (1) Fulfillment of airlines block space agreement, (2) Utilization of FedEx Express aircraft space, (3) Top customer performance and (4) Asia Pacific airfreight market trend
- Recommend, develop, and formulate air product management reports and ensure timely processing and submission to management.
- Provide ad hoc analysis, report & Presentation material to support Management meeting and decisions.
- Support on new air freight system development and implementation
JOB SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE
Academic:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Quantitative Analysis, or related field.
Experience & knowledge:
- Five (5) years’ experience in airfreight or airline operations, space procurement or finance, preferably with air freight forwarding or express industry knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and knowledge in Power BI would be an advantages
- Good knowledge of analytical tools
Attribute:
- Good command of English, Chinese and Mandarin
