Description

To provide safe and efficient routine and non-routine maintenance to FedEx aircraft, under minimal supervision, in accordance with FedEx policies and procedures, as well as FAA regulations.

What you will do:

Responsible for performing and overseeing aircraft maintenance activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

This role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to interpret complex maintenance documentation and utilize modern IT systems.

Key Responsibility:

  • Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures and organizational standards.

  • Interpret technical documents, including maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, and manufacturer overhaul manuals, to ensure accurate execution of tasks.

  • Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of aircraft systems to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Adhere to organizational safety protocols and aviation regulatory requirements during all maintenance operations.

  • Utilize modern IT systems and image transfer tools for documentation, reporting, and maintenance tracking purposes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support aircraft readiness and ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules.

  • Maintain clear and professional communication in English, both verbal and written, to support operational coordination and reporting.

  • Apply working knowledge of aircraft operations, procedures, and servicing to support efficient and compliant technical execution.

You will be a great fit if you:

  • Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (required)

  • Four (4) years of Aircraft Maintenance experience as an aircraft mechanic including two
    (2) years experience on aircraft types and equipment similar to the FedEx fleet. (B777/B767/A300/A310/MD11)

  • Familiarity with aircraft operations, procedures, and servicing.

  • Working knowledge of all aspects of aircraft maintenance techniques, equipment,
    operations procedures, and servicing used in our aircraft, line or hanger as applicable.

  • Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, and manufacture
    overhaul manuals.

  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy aircraft related components, parts and equipment.

  • Understanding of the use of latest IT systems and image transfer equipment.

  • Fluency in English (both oral and written).

  • Candidates with less experience or qualifications may be considered for appointment as Aviation Maintenance Technician or Associate Aviation Maintenance Technician.
