Job Title: Business Automation/Analytics Engineer  

Function: Data Engineering & Systems APAC

Company: FedEx Malaysia

Work location: TTDI, Kuala Lumpur (Fit-for-purpose hybrid)   

Geographical Remit: Sub-regional & regional (APAC)

What you will do 

Responsible for leading and developing large-scale automation and analytics projects by leveraging data processing, modeling, and visualization tools to drive business process efficiency and cross-functional coordination.

 

What you will be responsible for:

  • Leadership and execution of automation and analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage project development from inception to post-implementation support, focusing on data-driven solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in data processing, modeling, and visualization to meet business automation needs.

 

You will be a great fit if you

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years in data/analytics with a strong understanding of business process automation.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 4+ years with PowerBI and Power Apps, focusing on data visualization and reporting.
  • 2+ years with Python for data processing and automation.
  • Proven expertise in data processing, modeling, and visualization techniques.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly.
  • Project Management: Experience managing large-scale projects, with a focus on budget management and cross-team coordination.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with marketing and supply chain analytics.
  • Experience in training teams and creating instructional documentation.
