Senior Manager Operations
Description
-Role required as leadership for Air Network in Turkey. To manage IGA and SAW gateways, be the FedEx connection for CAA, authorities, slot coordination and partners. Facilitate the growth and expansion of IGA as a gateway, GTH and global transit point.

What you will be doing:
- Lead and inspire a team of managers and operational staff across multiple departments or locations (Air & Road Network, Ground Operations, Hub & Storage, etc.).
- Drive the achievement of operational KPIs, ensuring alignment with company goals, customer expectations, and compliance standards.
- Plan and execute resource allocation, departmental strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives using quality-driven management principles.
- Manage departmental budgets and drive cost optimization while maintaining service excellence.
- Lead cross-functional and regional projects from concept to execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Represent FedEx in interactions with external vendors, regulatory bodies, and customers when needed.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
What do you bring with you:
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing teams and operations in logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage across functions and geographies.
- Experience in planning, budgeting, and project management.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Hands-on problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Knowledge of compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements in an operational context.
