Description
Provides senior level leadership for Field Marketing across the Middle East & Africa, driving GTM/GTS strategies, regional revenue growth, and FedEx brand visibility. Leads the development and execution of the MEA Strategic Playbook, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and close partnership with Operations, P&E, Network Planning, and Sales to deliver sustainable business impact.

Manages the development of function specific recommendations to ensure team alignment and efficient allocation of resources. This position requires expert technical knowledge of assigned area.
Key Responsibilities
Field Marketing & GTM/GTS Leadership
• Lead MEA Field Marketing strategy to support revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market penetration.
• Develop and execute GTM plans and GTS programs tailored to Middle East and Sub Saharan Africa market dynamics.
• Drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and competitive positioning across MEA.
• Ensure marketing programs are aligned with divisional priorities and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
MEA Strategic Direction & Playbook for Success
• Define, refine, and implement the MEA Strategic Playbook, outlining priorities, growth levers, and market specific actions.
• Partner closely with Operations, Planning & Engineering, Network, and Sales to ensure cross functional execution.
• Lead strategic forecasting, market analysis, and scenario planning to guide MEA leadership decisions.
People & Performance Leadership
• Lead and develop two regional marketing managers (Middle East + SSA).
• Build a high performing, insights driven field marketing team.
• Provide coaching, direction, and performance management to ensure delivery of regional objectives.
Cross Functional Alignment & Influence
• Act as the senior marketing interface with MEA leadership teams.
• Influence decision making through insights, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations.
• Represent MEA Marketing in corporate and regional forums.
Research, Insights & Analytics
• Lead market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to inform GTM and strategic direction.
• Translate insights into actionable marketing and business recommendations.
Process, Governance & Budget Management
• Oversee MEA marketing processes, planning cycles, and reporting frameworks.
• Manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring optimal ROI and cost discipline.
