This is an interview position.


Performs engineering assignments focused on optimizing planning and execution within Operations. Applies established or modified engineering methods or techiques where possible while focused on increasing the ability to introduce new products and services efficiently thereby providing a competitve value proposition. Contributes to and supports the development and implementation of new technologies.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Bachelors degree or equivalent in engineering or other related quantitative discipline.

Professional Engineering designation preferred.

Two (2) years engineering related experience.

Knowledge of FedEx operation procedures and practices

Knowledge of Lean principles and 6 sigma preferred

Knowledge of Project Management principles preferred

Strong attention to detail

Travel may be required within geographical area

Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
