Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, performing financial analysis, and supporting internal control processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of improvement in financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal control processes and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
  •  Assist in financial planning and forecasting activities, including budget preparation, forecasting models, and scenario analysis, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed to ensure audit objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  •  Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in financial reporting, controls, and analysis, recommending and implementing changes to optimize workflow and enhance accuracy.
  • Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, identifying and addressing areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management, providing insights into specific financial metrics or performance indicators to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including accounting, treasury, and operations, to gather financial data, resolve issues, and support business objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, auditing, or a related field


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or a related field strongly preferred.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) highly desired


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and ERP systems.
