Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A); Regional FP&A

About the role:

Reports to Managing Director, APAC FP&A, the FP&A Manager will play a major role in leading Business Review with focus on financial and non-financial KPIs performance. Deep dive on RT/OB/IB/Lanes to make recommendation and drive profitability growth and work closely with Marketing on pricing. This regional role will present opportunities to work with various departments to provide financial services and consultancy and assist the management team in making business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead APAC monthly holistic Business Review with focus on financial and non-financial KPIs performance, including liaising within Finance, other different functions, and regions teams. The objective is to provide a holistic view of company performance, identify the advantages and disadvantages, and effectively communicate the risks and opportunities to management.
  • Take the Lead to drive profitability improvement by deep dive of RT/OB/IB/Lanes performance. Enhance cost allocation process with MEM Finance to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Pricing support including annual eCD costing evaluations, robust review on Linehaul costing with system form change, new product launch (e.g. FICP for FD and TPAC), Fix / Var % cost analytics.  
  • Seek continuous efficiency improvements via streamlining business processes and workflows.
  • Utilising BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance.
  • Manage a team of Financial Analysts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, preferably with an MBA and/or CPA/ACCA/CFA.
  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant working experience
  • Significant analytical skillset, including the utilisation of BI and reporting tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management and familiarity with Essbase, OAC reporting tools, PowerBI and SQL are definite advantages.
  • Sound knowledge in financial management analytical tools and investment modelling.
  • Excellent skill in Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Strong sense of responsibility, detail-oriented, self-motivated with strong organizational skills and strong business acumen.
  • Able to manage multi-tasks and work under time pressure.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English are a must. 
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationship.
