Software Developer-Senior I
Description
We are looking for a skilled and solution-oriented Senior Salesforce Developer with 7–9 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce applications across various clouds. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform and be adept at custom development, configuration, and system integration. You will be responsible for delivering scalable solutions that align with business needs and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Solution Development
- Design, develop, and deploy robust Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
- Build custom applications and components using Salesforce development frameworks.
- Implement complex workflows, process builders, approval processes, and validation rules.
2. System Integration
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, and third-party tools.
- Manage data migrations using tools like Data Loader and Informatica Cloud.
- Support and maintain integrations with ERP, marketing automation, and other enterprise systems.
3. Platform Configuration and Maintenance
- Configure and customize Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud applications.
- Implement security models including profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- Maintain and optimize performance of existing Salesforce implementations.
4. Collaboration and Leadership
- Work with business analysts, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design sessions.
- Mentor junior developers and ensure development best practices are followed.
5. DevOps and Continuous Improvement
- Participate in CI/CD processes using tools like Git and Copado.
- Proactively stay updated on Salesforce releases and industry best practices.
- Recommend enhancements and automation opportunities to improve platform usability and performance.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL.
- Proficient in working with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Good understanding of Salesforce data architecture and security model.
- Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools like Git, Copado, Jenkins, etc.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II
- Salesforce App Builder
- Integration Architecture Designer (added advantage)
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with globally distributed teams.
- Adaptability to fast-paced Agile delivery environments.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Agile (Scrum or SAFe) environments.
- Exposure to Marketing Cloud, CPQ, Einstein Analytics, or Field Service Lightning is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Dynamic and collaborative environment working on enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
- Work from office as per policy and collaborate with teams across EU, APAC, and US time zones.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, MIS or related discipline.
Experience: Relevant work experience in application / software design and development based on the following number of years:
Associate: Prior experience not required
Standard I: Two (2) years
Standard II: Three (3) years
Senior I: Four (4) years
Senior II: Five (5) years
