Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Azure Cloud Solution Engineer (CSE) focusing on Azure Data & AI Services to join our diverse and inclusive Retails solution Team at FedEx ACC!
We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Solution Engineer to join our Data and machine learning engineering Team Under FedEx Retail solution. This role will be important in managing and optimizing Azure cloud solutions, with a primary focus on Azure DevOps, classical pipeline YAML, PowerShell scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Azure data and AI services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks, from a DevOps perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

a. Azure DevOps Management:

  - Develop, manage, and maintain Azure DevOps services, including CI/CD pipelines.

  - Expertise in creating and managing Azure classical pipelines using YAML.

  - Implement best practices for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure automation.

- PowerShell Scripting:

  - Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, configuration management, and deployment processes.

  - Automate routine tasks and support cloud environments using scripting tools.

b. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  - Design and implement IaC using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep to automate cloud resource provisioning.

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that infrastructure requirements align with project objectives and are deployed effectively.

c. Azure Data and AI Services:

  - Provide support and guidance on Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.

  - Work closely with data engineering teams to integrate and deploy data pipelines, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency.

d. Collaboration and Support (SAFe Agile):

  - Partner with software development teams to enable agile methodologies and best practices.

  - Provide technical support and mentorship to team members, helping to build a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

e. Monitoring and Optimization:

  - Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, detect anomalies, and proactively address issues. Ex – Azure data factory pipeline or Synapse pipeline failure and issues

  - Perform regular assessments of cloud infrastructure to identify areas for improvement, cost savings, and increased efficiency.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering or a similar role.

- Strong experience in Azure DevOps, including YAML pipeline creation and management.

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and deployment.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

- Familiarity with Azure data and AI services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.

- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

Preferred Skills:

- Azure certifications (such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect).

- Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes).

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.


Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, MIS or related discipline

Experience: Relevant work experience in software engineering based on the following number of years:
Associate: Prior experience not required
Standard I: Two (2) years
Standard II: Three (3) years
Senior I: Four (4) years
Senior II: Five (5) years
