Under limited supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs moderately complex software programs for enhancements and new products.
About the team and role:
The Enterprise Decision Analytics Data Visualization team specializes in creating data-driven analytics using Power BI, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions through thoughtfully designed visuals. The team excels at transforming raw and curated data into compelling narratives that drive strategic decision-making, ultimately delivering significant value to the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale decision analytics visuals and dashboards to support the organization’s business strategies and goals
- Troubleshoot and debug complex decision analytics visuals and dashboards using Computer Science skills to ensure accurate data analytics and visuals for enterprise-wide consumption
- Provides the necessary documentation
- Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages
- Works with the team to enhance data governance, data architecture, and data modeling standards within the Enterprise Decision Analytics and Dashboard team
- Mentors those in less senior positions
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
Software Engineer 1: No experience required
Software Engineer 2: Two (2) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Software Engineer 3: Three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience and understanding of FedEx, Planview, Digital.ai tool and Agility/SAFe principles
- Subject matter expert in translating data and business intelligence needs to visual illustration requirements
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as PowerBI
- Power Query
- Power Automate
- Data governance, data architecture and data modeling
- Experience in tool-selection and retrofitting existing reporting systems
- SQL and/or Python knowledge
Domicile Information:
This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: Software Engineer 1: U.S. Pay Range: $4,881.62/month - $8,461.48/month Software Engineer 2: U.S. Pay Range: $5,364.26/month - $9,476.86/month Software Engineer 3: U.S. Pay Range: $7,094.23/month - $12,533.14/month
