Description

Responsible for developing test plans, creating test cases, executing tests, tracking defects, conducting regression testing, automating testing, assessing performance, ensuring security compliance, documenting results, and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain high software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

1. Lead the development of comprehensive test strategies and plans, aligning them with business objectives and project goals.
2. Design and oversee the creation of complex test cases that cover both functional and non-functional aspects of the software.
3. Drive the implementation and maintenance of advanced automated testing frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
4. Manage the defect lifecycle by prioritizing, documenting, and collaborating with development teams to resolve critical software issues.
5. Lead regression testing initiatives to ensure that software updates do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
6. Mentor junior quality engineers, providing guidance on best practices, advanced testing techniques, and professional development.
7. Oversee and conduct in-depth performance, load, and stress testing to ensure the software meets scalability and reliability standards.
8. Collaborate with information security teams to identify vulnerabilities and ensure software complies with security standards and policies.
9. Prepare and present detailed test reports, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
10. Lead collaboration efforts with development, product, and operations teams to ensure high software quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.


Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, MIS or related discipline

Experience: Five (5) years equivalent work experience in software quality engineering.
