Software Quality Engineer II
Description
Responsible for developing test plans, creating test cases, executing tests, tracking defects, conducting regression testing, automating testing, assessing performance, ensuring security compliance, documenting results, and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain high software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
1. Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
2. Create detailed test cases covering various software functionalities.
3. Execute test cases manually or using automated tools to verify software functionality.
4. Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
5. Conduct regression testing to ensure software updates do not impact existing functionalities.
6. Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency.
7. Assess software responsiveness, scalability, and stability under various load conditions.
8. Collaborate with Information Security and Identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
9. Document test results, findings, and recommendations in test reports.
10. Collaborate with cross-teams to ensure high software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, MIS or related discipline
Relevant work experience in software quality engineering based on the following number of years:
Associate: Prior experience not required
Standard I: Two (2) years
Standard II: Three (3) years
Senior I: Four (4) years
Senior II: Five (5) years
