Software Quality Engineer III
Description
Act as a key leader in the development and execution of software quality methods and processes. Develops, executes, and documents software test plans using both automated and manual testing to ensure products meet design specifications. Assists with transforming manual test documentation into automated test scripts. Presents progress and results of automated testing efforts to appropriate teams. Continuously improves upon the productivity and efficiency of our testing efforts using innovative tools and techniques. Utilizes test standards, procedures and functional specifications for test approaches while staying current on new technologies and best practices. Setups/configures/maintains automated testing environments in a continuous integration setting. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience in computer support or information technology environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in computer support or information technology environment in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience. The position requires experience with: General knowledge of hardware, software and network; Java with all Spring modules; Angular & Web Technologies; Oracle, MySQL; Cloud Technologies including PCF & GCP; Testing in Isolation with Service Virtualization; CI/CD & Jenkins; ServiceNow. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. This position will be hybrid in Collierville, TN and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
